Last year our community came together at Miceli's Restaurant in Matlacha, FL for some Oktober beers andBreast Cancer Awareness. Once again Miceli's and From Our Hearts will be celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Come by boat (GPS=N26.38.317 W082.03.317) or land to Miceli's Restaurant Sunday October 9th, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Honor the fight against Breast Cancer and have a good time as well. Music will be provided under the Tiki Hut,by Burnt Out – Strange Arrangement and Soapbox. You can donate to our cause by enjoying some great food from Miceli's and taking advantage of their 11:00 to 7:00 Happy Hour because a portion of the days sales will be donated back to From Our Hearts.

In addition you can buy 50/50 raffle tickets, shop at the retail tent for some early Christmas presents, and listen to information on the fight against Breast Cancer. New to this year’s event is a liveauction. Several of our local artists have volunteered to ‘Paint the Ta Ta’s’. These artistic creations will be auctioned at three different times during the day at 1:30 PM, 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM and will be on display at Miceli's starting October

1. Stop by Island Visions in Matlacha now and see the ‘Ta Ta’ created by local artist Steve Timcak and donated to From Our Hearts. Proceeds from the day will be used to provide Breast Cancer Screening and procedures to eligible residents of the Greater Pine Island Area.

was chosen to be the "Charitable Organization of the Month" for October by WINK-FM. WINK-FM put together a group of local and national comedians that performed at the Laugh In Comedy Cafe on Sunday, October 29th. The proceeds from the ticket sales went to From Our Hearts and over $1,000.00 was raised. We would like to thank Liz of the WINK-FM morning show and all the comedians and others that donated their time. A good time was had by all! Follow the link below for pictures.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month the recipients of this event will be ‘From Our Hearts’.
This local organization raises funds to provide Breast Cancer screening and treatments to eligible persons who reside in the Greater Pine Island zip codes.

The Kayak Cuties from St James City will be in the water to collect donations from the boats as they arrive for the party.
From Our Hearts also plans to have the party pontoon with pink Mardi Gras beads for those wanting to donate to help our community.
Past recipients of a Barge Party have been Pine Island Little League and Low Key Tiki Employees drawing over 200 boats and raising $12,000. So plan your boating outing that weekend for Barge Party #4 and help exceed the money raised at these events.

Steve Owen and Michelle Goldsworthy, who are affiliated with the band Lynyrd Skynyrd generously donated to From Our Hearts a LYNYRD SKYNYRD 30th Anniversary Guitar signed by all the current band members to be used in a fund raising project to help raise funds for Breast Cancer.  $5,000 was raised for Breast Cancer and the guitar was given away at the Double Nichol Hog Roast, Saturday May 8th.
