Breast Fest 2004

The 3rd Annual Pine Island "Breast Fest" was a Party!!!  The weather was perfect. the beer cold and the music was awesome!  Around 100 walkers enjoyed sunny skies and warm temperatures for the first From Our Hearts sponsored 5K walk in St. James City to start the day.  Several Breast Cancer Survivors fought their way through the bubbles to lead the way and everyone received a flower and gift basket at the finish.  Then came the music and what awesome music it was.  From Skunk Monkey to Yard Dogs to The Riverside Blues Band to Borderline to Trouble Starters and more it was one great group after another.  Food was plentiful from the WaterFront Restaurant, Double Nichol Restaurant and Pork Bellies Restaurant with desert provided by the Fisher of Men (love those chocolate chip cookies).  With over 100 Chinese auction items it was hard not to win something (unless of course you didn't buy a ticket).  Thank you so very much to the merchants that so generously donated so many items.  The dunk tank, massage tent, caricature drawing and Mariner High School's games for kids were a big hit.
