From Our Hearts elects new officers and presents Partners for Breast Cancer Care a check for $20,000.00.

From Our Hearts presented Janet Darnell of Partners for Breast Cancer Care with a check for $20,000.00 at the September meeting. The funds were part of the funds raised at Breast Fest and will be used to help those in need in the Pine Island/Cape Coral areas.

The 2009 Breast Cancer Awareness Fashion Show was held January 26th at the Sandy Hook Restaurant.  All of the female models were breast cancer survivors and one male breast cancer survivor also modeled.  Fashions were supplied by Belk and we are very grateful for their time and effort to help us put the show together.

Thank you to Nicole of the Sandy Hook Restaurant, the community and all that contributed their time to make this event a success.  The grand total raised to help local breast cancer charities was:

$4,600.00

Want to know how the money donated to From Our Hearts is used?  Since April of this year Partners for Breast Cancer Care (a major recipient of donated funds) has helped 144 clients that could not for one reason or another get help.  Follow this link for more information.

At the From Our Hearts October meeting, Marci Perry, President of From Our Hearts presented a check in the amount of $25,000.00 to Janet Darnell, Program Director of Partners for Breast Cancer Care.  For more information regarding this wonderful organization follow this link.

From Our Hearts recently was able to donate a check for $30,000.00 to the Lee Memorial Foundation From Our Hearts Fund that was formed to help those having more advanced needs such as chemotherapy, radiation and advanced medications in the Pine Island/Cape Coral areas.

Due to the great success of the 2006 Breast Fest event, we were able to present a check for $50,000.00 to Partners for Breast Cancer Care, a wonderful organization that is working very hard to help those in need of Breast Cancer Care in Pine Island, Cape Coral, Ft.
